Dont get left in the dark - get the Anglepoise Type 75 mini table lamp
Built between 1816 and 1837, following William Jessop’s docks design of 1791, the building operated as a working Mill until it was refurbished in 2013 as an office space.
As a Protected Structure the primary challenge foe the designers MOLA was to provide workstations, meeting pods, kitchen, break out and office space without having any detrimental effect on the original building fabric. As such the design incorporates best practice in conservation with all new interventions being de-mountable and easily removed.
OBOS supplied and installed a wide range 0f contemporary meeting & breakout furniture to this unique building. The rich heritage of the building was enhanced by modern furniture with natural materials and a natural palette. Product were sourced from manufactures including Ton, Buzzispace, Ritzwell & Mark Products.
Designed by Mola architecture the Google Dockmill project won best commercial interior of the year in 2015.
